A good tripod and head are the most important pieces
of equipment a photographer needs to own. Nothing will improve your image quality more
than using a proper tripod.
A highly rated expensive lens will not deliver the tack sharp images it was designed to
produce if it is not properly supported. When
selecting a tripod and head the rule is bigger is better, but do not go so large that you
are unwilling to carry the unit with you.
A state of the art tripod and head will do nothing to improve your images if it’s
left sitting in the trunk of your car while you’re out creating images.
